Hi have been getting my Shimano and Hope pads from you for years,no problem very happy..But recently I got a new bike with the above brakes..No way would the pads allow the rotor up between them I tried all the tricks in the book and had to end up sanding down the pads, they now fit properly...So I reckon the pads are too thick for the brakes has anybody else come upon this?

We are sorry you are having a problem fitting the pads. The pads are the same thickness as the original manufacturer's pads. You may find the following steps useful to check your brake system before installing the pads.

* Ensure the brake lever reach adjustment is fully reset to the factory default.
* Check the brake pistons are pushed all the way back into the caliper following the instructions in the manual for your brake.
* Check the disc is not warped or mounted incorrectly.
* Check the caliper is properly aligned/centralised relative to the disc.
* You may need to release a drop of brake fluid to create enough space for the new pads.
* If air has got into the system the brake may need to be re-bled

Thanks for your custom and we look forward to be of service to you soon.

Best Regards
